The "JVAYCHIL" cooperative in Chenalho, Chiapas, Mexico, collaborates with RAIZS Artisanat Solidaire to promote socio-economic development through the promotion of textile art in this region of Chiapas.

Also members of the civil society organization "Las Abejas" of the municipality of Acteal, in the region of Chenalho, Chiapas, Mexico, the artisans and peasants of the region have come together to promote and develop the textile art of the region in order to assert their identity as indigenous people of Chiapas, to perpetuate their traditions and to acquire social and economic development

The civil society Las Abejas is an indigenous organization that struggles peacefully to claim their rights and defend their lands and territories. Currently, they are located in 6 municipalities in the highlands of Chiapas, most of which speak Tzotzil, another part Tzeltal. The municipality of Chenalho is located in the central zone of Chiapas. It borders Chalchihuitán to the north, Aldama to the west, Chamula and Mitontic to the south, and Pantelhó, San Juan Cancuc and Tenejapa to the east. It has an area of 113 km.
